Vecchie Terre di Montefili – Anfiteatro IGT 2018

This single-vineyard Sangiovese from the oldest vines represents the heart and soul of Montefili.  There are aromas of dried cherry, ripe nectarine, orange peel, and fig.  A palate of cherry, plums, cinnamon, ginger, and fresh herb grace a backbone of noble tannins.  Impressively balanced, this wine is luscious, elegant, and unique with a very long, meditative finish.
