Marchesi di Grésy – Camp Gros Martinenga Barbaresco Riserva DOCG 2015

The crown jewel in the Martinenga cru, Camp Gros is a 2.3 hectare parcel at the eastern end of Martinenga, bordered by the Rabaja cru to the north and easy. The 2015 is part of a limited release of back vintages that will be released directly from the estate in 2025.  This opens with aromas of raspberry, dark spice and red flowers.  The power of the vintage is immediately apparent on the palate, with deep textures of red fruit supported by chiselled tannins and touch of spice and leather on the finish.
