Gaiun is a distinct, south-facing parcel located at the western end of the singular Martinenga cru. The 2012 is part of a limited release of back vintages that will be released directly from the estate in 2025. Wonderfully fresh despite the age, the nose is full of classic Nebbiolo aromas of cherries, cranberries, rose and baking spice. Well-integrated but still youthful tannins frame a palate of orange peel, liquorice and a touch of truffle. Amazingly balanced.
