Marchesi di Grésy – Camp Gros Martinenga Barbaresco Riserva DOCG 2014

The crown jewel in the Martinenga cru, Camp Gros is a 2.3 hectare parcel at the eastern end of Martinenga, bordered by the Rabaja cru to the north and easy. The 2014 is part of a limited release of back vintages that will be released directly from the estate in 2025.  A delicate nose of wild red berries, blood orange and a touch of eucalyptus is followed by a palate of cherries, cooking spices and roasted coffee bean.  Super balance all round and a shining triumph of remarkable winemaking and effervescent terroir over a lacklustre growing season.
