From Sergio Germano’s favourite cru across his holdings, the Lazzarito Riserva is a wine of great density and concentration. The immaculate 2016 vintage has translated well into the bottle – immediate scents of raspberry, redcurrant, rose petal and forest floor. The palate is full of juicy red fruit, with hints of orange peel, balsamico and tea leaf accompanying the graceful, structured finish. Excellent back-end acidity perfectly compliments the noble tannins.
