From Sergio Germano’s favourite cru across his holdings, the Lazzarito Riserva is a wine of great density and concentration. Classic aromas of cherry, rose petal, leather and a hint of tobacco. This palate on this full-bodied offering is gorgeous, doling out succulent ripe fruit, liquorice and savoury cooking spice. The structure conferred by the grippy tannins is well balanced out by the bracing acidity. Will cellar well for decades.
