Patrick Javillier is renowned for his expertise in crafting white wines from the Cote de Beaune that punch well above their weight. Despite small holdings in premier cru and grand cru, Patrick has perfected the art of blending fruit from different climats (or plots) to vinify wines greater than the sum of its parts.
The Forgets comes from grapes planted on the Volnay side of Meursault. This Bourgogne Blanc is full of bright aromas of citrus and stone fruit, with a touch of honey and florals. The medium weight palate presents a good concentration of fruit, and great persistence on the refreshing finish. Wonderful expression and great value.
