The more feminine of Giorgio Negro’s Barbarescos, the Gallina is produced from vineyards from just behind the cellar. Aged in 500 litre Austrian, French and Slavonian oak barrels, the nose is full of bright fruit, forest floor and peppermint and the delicious palate of is full of juicy berry, wild herb and a touch of mocha on the structured, lingering finish.
