From grapes from the celebrated Prapò cru in Serralunga d’Alba on which the cellars sit, Sergio Germano exceeded all expectations accompanying the 2017 vintage on all fronts. Alongside classic aromas of rose petal and an earthy minerality, the darker fruit on the nose is the only hint of a warmer vintage. Tannins are already well integrated, and complement a rounded palate of sweet berry, orange peel and a touch of tobacco on the finish.
