From the muscular Cerretta cru in Serralunga d’Alba, the 2016 represents the best growing season for the past decade. Lovely aromas of tart cherry, orange zest and underbrush. Muscular tannins frame the full bodied-palate of candied fruit, tobacco and some lightly toasted nuts. Well-integrated oak is apparent on the robust finish.
