Although the Predappio is meant to be Chiara Condello’s “normale” or entry level wine, this is anything but and is of superb value. Delightful aromas of wild berry, juicy plums, blue flowers and cooking spice are some of the exotic flavours on the very pretty nose. The palate is dense, generous and absolutely delicious, with notes of berry compote, cinnamon and a lovely mineral undertone. This is an energetic and wonderfully balanced wine with sleek tannins and a long, lingering finish.
