Patrick Javillier is renowned for his expertise in crafting white wines from the Cote de Beaune that punch well above their weight. Despite small holdings in premier cru and grand cru, Patrick has perfected the art of blending fruit from different climats (or plots) to vinify wines greater than the sum of its parts.
Patrick Javillier’s Les Tillets comes from a higher altitude vineyard rich in limestone. Beautiful aromas of ripe citrus and orchard fruit are accompanied by hints of white flowers. Good tension on a palate offering grapefruit, nectarine and just the hint of toasted oak. A vibrant and fresh energy persists through the rich, mineral-laden finish.
