The more structured of Giorgio Negro’s Barbarescos, made with a combination of fruit from the Albesani and the Gaja Principe crus and aged in 500 litre Austrian, French and Slavonian oak barrels. Complex aromas of strawberries, plums and freshly picked herbs are amongst the first on the nose. An indulgent and rounded mouthful of bright red fruit, cedar and rose petal is accompanied by a persistent, energetic finish.
