This privacy policy (“Policy“) describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.thewinehaven.sg/shop (the “Site”).

- When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
- We collect Device Information using the following technologies: (i) “Cookies” which are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier; (ii) “Web Beacons”, “Tags” and “Pixels” which are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site; and (iii) “Log Files” which are used to rack actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
- The term “Personal Information” or “Personal Data” when used in this Policy shall refer to Device Information and/or Order Information (as applicable).
Data Use
- Order Information is used to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including payment processing, shipping arrangements and invoicing). We will use this Order Information to communicate with you regarding your order, screen our orders for potential risk issues or fraudulent activity and/or when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our goods and/or services.
- Device Information is used for screening for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site.

- We may also share your Personal Data if we are required to do so to comply with any applicable laws and regulations, or otherwise protect our rights.
Data Security and Retention
- We use reasonable efforts to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk associated with the processing of your Personal Data. We maintain organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect the Personal Data covered by this Policy from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or misuse.
- When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Personal Data for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Notwithstanding any deletion request, we may continue to retain your Personal Data to: (i) to comply with our legal and regulatory requirements; (ii) enable fraud monitoring, detection, and prevention; and (iii) comply with your tax, financial and accounting reporting obligations (including where required by our affiliates and partners).

Data Transfers
We are a Singapore-based business. However, as we partner with certain organisations for the purposes of fulfilling any orders with you, there may be situations where your Personal Data is transferred to countries other than Singapore. These countries may have data protection regulations that are different from Singapore.
Miscallaneous
- We may change this Policy from time to time to reflect new services, changes in our privacy practices or applicable laws.
- In this Policy, “applicable law” includes the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) (No. 26 of 2012) as amended from time to time. In some cases, and as permitted under the PDPA, we may rely on “deemed consent” as a legal basis for processing your Personal Data.
